Built on Family. Grounded in Craftsmanship.
Rooted in generations of construction experience, Lockhart Construction & Roofing Services brings a tradition of quality workmanship,
personal service, and family values to every project.
Our Story
In the early 1970s Lenard Lockhart left a successful contracting business in Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be near to the water that he loved. This was the beginning of the contracting business in Florida for the Lockhart families.
Shane was born into a family of contractors and construction craftsmen. His father had been in construction since 1960, his grandfather since 1956, and his older brother since graduation. He began working with his father in high school, finding pride in the trade and discovering that he loved to work with his hands. He learned every aspect of quality custom home building from his father, from foundation to final touches.
In 2012, Shane and Lenard began Lockhart Construction and Roofing Services. Shane and Lenard have both remained hands-on in the business, with a combined wealth of expertise in all of the specialties of construction. Chris Lanham joined the company after high school and continues to be a valuable asset to the team.
